Overview
Expert Care Through
Pregnancy & Beyond.
Pregnancy and childbirth place extraordinary demands on the body. Our integrated approach combines physical therapy, pelvic floor therapy, and Pilates-based rehabilitation to help you stay active during pregnancy, recover safely after delivery, and return to the activities you love with confidence.
During pregnancy that means moving well with a shifting center of gravity, easing back and pelvic pain, and preparing your body for labor. After birth it means rebuilding core and pelvic floor function and progressing you back to exercise in stages. We see women from 6 weeks to 8 or more years postpartum — it is never too late to start.

Questions Answered
Everything You
Need to Know.
When should I start prenatal physical therapy?
You can begin at any stage of pregnancy. Early care helps address movement changes, reduce discomfort, and prepare your body for labor and postpartum recovery.
Is postpartum physical therapy only for new mothers?
No. We see women from 6 weeks to 8 or more years postpartum. Your body can still benefit from proper rehabilitation, core strengthening, and pelvic floor therapy regardless of how long ago you gave birth.
What conditions can prenatal and postpartum therapy help treat?
We treat diastasis recti (abdominal separation); pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse; low back and pelvic pain such as sacroiliac joint pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction and sciatica; post-cesarean recovery; and postpartum orthopedic issues like wrist pain from feeding positions, upper back tension, and hip weakness.
When can I begin postpartum physical therapy?
We recommend scheduling an evaluation after receiving clearance from your OB or midwife — typically around 6 weeks postpartum for vaginal deliveries, and 8 to 10 weeks for cesarean deliveries.
Will my treatment plan be personalized?
Yes. Your physical therapist assesses your movement patterns, posture, strength, and any areas of pain or dysfunction, then develops a customized program with you that adapts to your body as it changes. Treatment duration varies based on your specific needs and goals.
