Overview
Give Your Body More of What
It Needs to Heal.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) delivers concentrated oxygen in a pressurized chamber, allowing your body to absorb significantly more oxygen than it can through normal breathing. This increased oxygen availability can support the body's natural repair processes and cellular function.
During each session, you simply relax in our hyperbaric chamber while breathing normally as our trained team monitors your treatment.
Conditions We Treat With HBOT:
- Post-stroke recovery
- Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Post-concussion syndrome
- Parkinson's disease
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Dementia and cognitive decline
- Neuropathy
- Chronic inflammation
- Non-healing wounds
- Chronic fatigue

Questions Answered
Everything You
Need to Know.
What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
HBOT is a non-invasive treatment that delivers oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, increasing the amount of oxygen your body can absorb.
How long is an HBOT session?
Sessions run 60 or 90 minutes. Sixty minutes is the standard protocol for most conditions, and 90 minutes is an extended option for more complex cases. Treatment packages of 5, 10 or 20 sessions are also available.
What happens during treatment?
Each HBOT session at our Brooklyn clinic is comfortable and relaxing. You lie in our hyperbaric chamber while breathing normally, and many patients use the time to rest, meditate or listen to music. Our certified technicians monitor your progress throughout each session.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on your specific condition and treatment goals. Acute injuries may respond to 10 to 20 sessions, while chronic conditions often benefit from 20 to 40. Our physicians create a personalized protocol during your initial consultation.
Is HBOT comfortable?
Yes — each session is designed to be comfortable and relaxing, and you simply breathe normally inside the chamber. Side effects are rare and typically minor, such as temporary ear pressure or mild fatigue, and our certified technicians monitor every session for your safety and comfort.
Is there anyone who should not have HBOT?
Some conditions require special precautions or rule HBOT out, including untreated pneumothorax, certain lung conditions, severe claustrophobia and pregnancy. Our medical team screens for these before you start, so the consultation is the place to raise anything in your history you are unsure about.
